Description: 1916-dated Imperial German leather holster rig for the Mauser C96 “Broomhandle,” with Deutsche Signalflaggen-Fabrik, Karlsruhe i/B maker marking and pictured cleaning rod. A desirable Great War accessory for C96 and Imperial German militaria collections.
The Mauser C96 was widely used during the Imperial German and World War I era, distinguished by its integral box magazine and characteristic “Broomhandle” grip. Leather rigs such as this were designed to carry the C96 wooden stock/holster assembly and associated equipment.
