Original WWII German M40-style steel helmet presented in Afrika Korps / North Africa tan finish with camouflage net.
The steel helmet shell is original WWII German. The leather liner and chinstrap are reproductions. The helmet retains visible exterior wear, scratches, paint loss, and other signs of age/use as shown in the photographs. A camouflage net is currently fitted to the helmet.
The originality and period application of the tan paint and camouflage net have not been independently authenticated and are not represented as original WWII components.
This is an attractive display example for a WWII German militaria, Stahlhelm, Afrika Korps, DAK, or North Africa collection.
