The Gebirgslafette 34 was a specialized mountain version of the German MG34 Lafette system intended for Gebirgsjäger use. Its distinctive adjustable mountain-leg arrangement allowed the mount to be positioned on steep and uneven terrain while retaining the cradle, traverse, and elevation features of the Lafette 34.
